Using Sift
Sift lists local events for the Isle of Man, sourced from organizers who connect their Facebook Page. Event details are extracted automatically and may occasionally be wrong or out of date — always check with the organizer or venue before relying on a time, price, or cancellation status for anything important.
Organizer accounts
Connecting a Facebook Page means you're authorizing Sift, via Facebook's own official login flow, to read that Page's public posts and images so we can extract events from them. You can disconnect at any time from your organizer dashboard, or by removing the app from Facebook's own settings.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Sift: no scraping, no submitting false event or venue information, no abusive reports, and no attempting to access another user's or organizer's account or data.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
